WINERY PROFILE: SOLERA BODEGAS
Solera Bodegas is a family business of Colmenar de Oreja, one of the most wine-growing towns in the Community of Madrid. Solera Bodegas has been producing wines with traditional and artisan methods for nearly 200 years, which provide them with excellent quality and personality.
The unique personality of the ecological wines of Solera Bodegas is due to an artisan elaboration trying to maintain the most honest expression of the terroir.
Our vineyards are cultivated according to the criteria of organic farming, based on the optimal use of natural resources, without chemical fertilizers or herbicides intrusive to the vine.
This respect for the grape is maintained in the winery: both reds and whites’ ferment with their own indigenous yeasts and are devoid of chemical residues.
