- Our Winery
Bodega Marqués de Montecierzo is a top ranked familiar winery that belongs to Lozano-Melero family, with a long experience of more than 4 generations in the world of wine and viticulture; with our own farm, planted with 30 hectares of vineyard that allows the highest relevant control and own making decisions on our grapes for our wines.
Located on an emblematic centenary building (1918) of the North of Spain (i.e. the most relevant flour factory of the beginning of last century, even used as prison and jail during Spanish Civil War 1936-1939) nowadays is dedicated to the development, marketing and export of high quality wines.
- Our Wines
Due to the above, we are one of the most relevant boutique winery with elaborated tailor made wines. By way of an example of such handmade elaboration, wines from Bodega Marqués de Montecierzo have been awarded as the best wines of 2017, 2018 and 2019, also scored by Decanter and Mundus Vini making this family winery one of the most prestigious in recent years. It must be pointed out that in the aging of our wines we are using only French and American oak barrels.
