Family tradition
Since the end of the 19th century, the Cuscó and Esteve family practices viticulture in an artisan way, elaborating their own wines and cavas. At present, he practices organic farming throughout his farm of more than 40 hectares. The quality of Penedès wines and cavas is one of its great differential values. It treats of a national and international recognition to the personal and technological effort of the sector vitivinícola that has gained to pulse the credibility of the consumer. It was in 1985 when José Cuscó Berga and his sons managed, with great dedication and spirit of improvement, to build the current winery. Winery of modern design, with exceptional conditions for obtaining great wines and cavas. The Cuscó Berga Winery is located in the small village of Las Gunyoles de Avinyonet del Penedès, located in the eastern part of the Penedès region. You can also enjoy one of the most charming landscapes of the Penedès region.
The visitor will be surprised by the spectacular view of the natural park of the Garraf massif what you can see from the newest part of the winery. We elaborate and market cavas from the Premium and Gourmet range and red, rosé and white varietal wines from Penedès. of the "Cuscó Berga" brand. Awards also in the Peñin guide, mentions in the Wine Up Club contest, Gold Taste 90+ products and Gold Medal in the XX Girovi Wine and Cava Competition of Catalonia 2015. Year 2016 Gold medal and three silver medals , in the "International Wine Guide Awards" contest. We are currently promoting sales in the foreign market, mainly the Nordic countries, Holland, Belgium and Germany with our cavas from the Premium and Gourmet range. But as we are a small winery, we also want to make the whole Territory noted.
Our bet is the total practice of Organic Farming, to produce Organic Wines and Cavas at the highest level of quality.
