WINERY PROFILE: CELLERS CAPAFONS OSSÓ

 The Capafons-Ossó family has been involved in the cultivation of the vineyards and the production of wines for five generations. Each generation has contributed their effort and knowledge to extract the best wine quality from the vineyards.

We have been producing wines in the PRIORAT region for two decades with vineyards, two sister designations of origin: the D.O. Montsant and the D.O.Q. Priorat, differentiated by soil, climate, grape varieties and by historical and geographical themes.

At the Capafons-Ossó winery, we combine tradition and innovation; we have recovered the autochthonous grape varieties and introduced new varieties, in addition to the implementation of modern means of control in the production of grapes and in the process of winemaking.

To be able to obtain a quality product, the strain is controlled every day throughout its vegetative cycle until the end of its maturation. We are in the constant search to find the best balance between the grape plantations and the environment, a natural space of great beauty with its own microclimate.

Our family offers its wines, the fruit of a constant and rigorous work, of a great passion for our vineyards and for the lands of the Priorat region. The care in the production of our wines supports us when we are presenting our products.
